I have been trying to update my avatar photo, but when I go to add the new picture from my computer, it shows the old one, even after I remove it. The new one is a .jpg, in the correct size, and allows me to choose it but it just won't appear. I just got a new computer, don't know why that would matter but who knows...anyone else have this problem recenty (or ever)?

Try hitting your refresh to clear your cache.
One could argue that evolution suggests we’re not idiots, but I would say, “Well, no. Evolution just makes sure we’re not blithering idiots."

Your local cache is hanging on to the original image. Try refreshing the page.

Still no luck, I've even tried logging on and off.

OK, I finally got it. Refresh didn't do the job, I had to physically select "Empty Cache" from my browser menu.

Thanks for the tip, glad it was an easy one.
