Nice one, Linda. Snake is beautiful!
One could argue that evolution suggests we’re not idiots, but I would say, “Well, no. Evolution just makes sure we’re not blithering idiots."

He is definitely a beautiful fella!
If I want to get a good picture of Shunka I usually get him up onto the barbeque table (wooden) he stays still up there, he definately won't get up when there is food on it, he knows the bounderies!
He just knows when you are trying to take a picture and can be as good as gold about showing you the back of his head!
I was very amused at camp when people tried to take a photo of him, he would look every where except in their direction!
He gains new admirers every time we go, and of course he recognises some people from last year, he really thinks he is the main camp greeter, until the sun starts to go down, then try to come into camp unannounced. We do warn people to let us know if they wish to come into camp then, and we tell him it is ok for them to do so. Our friends who have known him since he was a pup, still wait until given permission to enter when it is dark! If I am on my own during the day it is the same thing, he's a good lad, no-one is going to get at me!
