I found your website. Nice bike.

Did you get to Kim's to see the dogs? What did you think?
One could argue that evolution suggests we’re not idiots, but I would say, “Well, no. Evolution just makes sure we’re not blithering idiots."

Hello Allison,

We got back home yesterday.

We visited the compound and saw all the dogs. Wow... exciting and disappointing all at the same time. Seeing that many dogs, and knowing none are available to take home with us :P

We played in the mud for about an hour, and left Kim a Deposit. Now we wait.

I'll be posting all of our images on our Blog so keep an eye on that.

The dogs were absolutely breathtaking. I was overwhelmed by their intelligence and loyalty to Kim!
Within minutes of stepping in with them I had perfect muddy paw prints all over me, I think Fancy Dancer was the culprit of most of them ;) She was so sweet and timid that I tried to just get down on her level... Within minutes she was eating my hair and elbow. Even with the *freezing* weather I could have stayed all day with them :P Kim was such a great host and you could feel the bond he had with each of the dogs.
The entire ride home I couldn't stop talking about my excitement! We even stopped on the way home to buy our unknown AI dog a dog backpack, toy, and water bowl! Just too excited. hehe. Richie and I anxiously wait for the arrival of our new family member.

Oh and thanks for the comment on the V-strom :P

Adventure biking is the best. But now I'm going to have to build a custom topcase to allow for a dog ;) I plan on doing a Pacific Northwest ride this summer, we'll have to meet up for a ride.

Have a good one :)

Pictures from our visit to Kim are now on our blog.

Too cool. Allison and I are both Adventure Riders. She's an XT225 rider and I'm a Ural (Russian sidecar) maniac and Coyo (our dog) is my monkey.

Indian dogs are natural bike riders.
