Times are tough for everyone, as you will see in this video:

I sat in front of the t.v. and scanned the channels and the listings since my in-laws have that fancy schmancy cable but no AIDogs and no Hawk was to be found last night. Did anyone else have and success. I went to animal planet and checked but all they were doing was.....

Westie, Irish Setter, Doberman, Miniature Pinscher, Whippet ,Bloodhound, Yorkshire Terrier, Great Dane, Shih Tzu, Rhodesian Ridgeback ,English Bulldog, Collie, Wire Fox Terrier, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel... Boxer, Bichon Frise, Newfoundland, Beagle, Dachshund....

Was Hawk in there somewhere? I was really hoping to have shown my brother in-law b/c I've been talking these dogs up b/c he is an owner of 2 belgian malinois and I' finding he has a great interest in smart dogs as I do. These were the listing all the way up to like 4am EST I began looking at 7pm EST trying to figure if the times you posted were pacific or EST...Shoot I really wanted to see Hawk. If anyone saw it and has a link to the show post it up please.

Oh Sorry! I should have told you that it was one of those questions just before the commercial, with the answer right after. It's a short spot, but we don't mind. Wouldn't want to embarrass all those AKC breeds. :P

Very nice of you to try.

well shoot like one of those which dog from the siberia looks like it's always smiling ? questions. Yea I felt really bad and rather irritated when they were going through all the different types of dogs and they would come to the part where they talked about all the possible genetic probs those dogs would have...I.E. Bloat , succeptible to cancer, weird hemophilia diseases etc. etc.

It was like watching a pharmaceutical commercial where they are like " Wanna be thin, sleek, sexy, grow all your hair back, and cure your restless leg syndrome just ask your doctor about _____ (insert any brand of your choice) " then the fine print rolls past the screen " may cause blindness, siamese twins in your offspring, and will cause anal leakage but you will be thinner and you will thank us for it. and the commercial ends with a family smiling and throwing a ball w/ the genetically defunct puppy who won't be able to live till 5yrs old before it gets some weird fatty tumor growing from its neck and lil ricky bobby moves from pampers to adult diapers way before his time.

Sometimes people deserve what they put themselves thru b/c they are stupid but these dogs come into the world b/c people want a new accessory to go w/ their new hairdoo. It's just a cryin shame is all I have to say.

just my 2cents

Wish I could have seen an honest to god real dog even if it was for just a few seconds before a commercial break.

I will one day and every day for 15-17yrs when we are able to get our AIDOG!

thanks kim for walking a different path than the rest of mindless society. I still can't believe folks settle for this sort of stuff and don't clamour for the way things used to be. ( I'll stop I'm ranting again)

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE Bwahahaha

All too true.

I can tell you had your fill of cable. :P  :D

I have always marveled at the money spent on anti-drug campaigns, and simultaneously the TV bombards us with commercials telling us to ask our doctors for some drug, that while we can't be quite sure of it's purpose, promises to have us floating in blue skies, with other deliriously happy, smiling people.

It's 1984.....

Happily, We taped Hawk in his 15 sec. of fame. Like Allison said, it's right after the Springer Spaniel segment. They show a sillouette of Hawk, ask a question and then when you return from a commercial BAM there he is and the answer was .... yes, it's an American Indian Dog. He wasn't too excited over the whole thing. Actually he slept right through it.

I will have to show some up dated pictures of Hawk Jaymace. You will never go wrong with an AID dog. My family has 3. We have Hawk who was 4 yesterday, Ma ii my sisters dog and Chief Joseph our "grand dog" who turned 6 months last Saturday. My sister and family come the end of the year for a family wedding. We should get some awesome shots of the "3 amigos" together for the first time. You see, Jaymace Hawk is Ma ii 's uncle, and Ma ii is Chiefs uncle. Sounds confusing but it really isn't. If you get a chance to pick up your pup in person you will have a blast down at Kim's place. Arlene has these amazing cat's too. Be sure to check them out as well.

Have a great rest of the holiday season.

Lisa! So glad you caught it on film. Is it tape, or DVD, or what? Kim will be thrilled to hear it!

Congratulations on having Hawk chosen for the AIDog representative. He is certainly a handsome boy.

I am also glad to hear that fame has not spoiled him. :P

It is taped on a VHS tape. We are in the "old tec." days. At least when it comes to recording. So, I am not sure how to get one to him.
