Any idea why Darmok howls like this when he plays with this particular toy?  He does it with another one as well from the same manufacture.  Could it be the pitch?

I'd say it is the pitch. My daughter plays the viola and certain notes she hits always set the dogs howling. I love Indian Dog howls. Darmok is adorable.

Wish you could have seen Kaposia when I played Darmok's squeeky toy video! I am at the dining room table. She came running, put her front paws in my lap and watched and listened intently to the whole thing! It must be the frequency and pitch. As I've posted before, the only time Kaposia howls is when my husband's cell phone rings. It is beautiful thing!
