Allison 2,369
Hey, Bozola, thanks for thumbnailing them for us. I'm out of town--but I'll be back soon. Got to add a few new people to the forum roster, too.
luna6killer 6
We've got a list of everyone that was there but unfortunately Allison has it so until she gets back, we'll have to wait to make sure the right name gets with the right person and dog <g> There are several people that didn't get in the picture too. Liz and her two dogs, Yuma and Varmit came with two of her friends and Kim's mother and her dog plus Sean and his friend. And an older couple that took one of Kim's older dogs - dang, brain is 'old' today - I know their names and the dog's name but it just isn't coming together - sigh - where is Allison when I need her!! Was Peter in the picture? He was there too of course with Coydo......we had a very nice turn out and I have some pictures too that I need to put up so expect some more pictures soon!! If anyone else that was there would lilke to share their pictures they may send them to me at luna6killer@homenetnw.net and I'll post them if they're not sure how?? I thought it was one of the nicer gatherings, very relaxed and easy going and some very nice people and I really enjoyed meeting the new people of course. I liked that a lot. I missed the 'old' people too but it was nice to see some new faces and new dogs. Got to meet a grandson of Happy! woohoo! JD did his usual fantastic show - the two indian dogs were awesome and so were his other dogs. The rapport he has with his dogs is amazing and their response to him......wish my dog would respond like that to me!!!!

Allison 2,369
Cyndi--who was the descendant of Happy? Sorry about the names.....We've got wildfire 3/4 of a mile from our place. As soon as I can get on it, I will.

luna6killer 6
Sure wish you could have been there KK - missed you guys and Waya and Moon - Shadow and Moon would have been like clones or something - did you see her picture? Wow - gorgeous girl and very close to Moon's looks!!! We had a very nice time, ate too much, talked too much, drank a little vino, well, the guys mostly had a little beer LOL, and ate some more - the dogs learned the frisbee thing and it was just a great gathering. Next year we'll combine old and new and really kick butt <g> I think when I counted everyone that was there we had close to 30 - 27 or 28 total!!! Oh, and I'll dig thru the ones I took on my laptop and see if there is anything I want to add to Allisons - her camera is just a tad better than mine LOL but I'll see if I can add to the mix there. Later on this afternoon I'll get to it.
Marina 0
Hi all, Marina in Portland here...I have Happy's grandson, Yakone (third from left in group photo)...We call him Red, much to Kim's dismay (sorry yet again, Jefe)..We named him after his father, Red Ryder. I honestly could not wrap my brain around any other name for him...though Happy would have fit well, too. He is pretty goofy... I had a great time at the gathering..it was smaller than prior years, I heard, but sooo much fun. I came home with another puppy...oops...sure didn't intend to...someone had returned her and I found myself scooping her up and putting her in the car... she is 4 months old today (Yakone's almost a year old) and we are so happy to have her....We are calling her Frieda.. great to meet other dogs and their folks and can't wait for next year's gathering. Thanks to everyone, but especially to JD, Peter, Kim and Arlene for training/rearing tips and hospitality!
aidogs 100
I understand that motivation. Frieda sorely tempted me; I know Allison was waiting to pounce on any displayed weakness.

You got that right! Marina, it was a real pleasure to meet you. Congratulations on the new addition to your family--Frieda. She is such a lovely creature. I second the special thanks to Kim, Arlene, Peter, and JD. Unforgettable. Was it a smaller Gathering? It was certainly larger than my previous experience. I barely got around to speak to everyone. I'll look forward to seeing you again. In the mean time, keep us informed on the antics of Frieda and Red the younger.
