Willow Wants To Say Hi!

Recommended Posts

Hello all! I've been absent for quite some time, and Willow has been on my butt about making more time to get on here. I've done my best to keep up, but you all have so many great, and silly, things to say, it's hard to keep up! We celebrated Willow's 3rd birthday this summer, but she doesn't know she's a day over 8months old, still trying to shove her face in the space between my neck and shoulder. We also made a BIG move in April from Florida to Virginia, so if anyone is around my area, let me know and we can have a doggy date!

Willow has been extra stubborn lately, not necessarily disobeying me, but DEFINITELY taking her time to complete whatever action I've told her. So we'll be having a major training refresher course soon. I've been trying to figure out what could be causing her attitude, and nothing has changed, we've even been getting more exercise lately. Sometimes to the point where she will give up on our evening walk, and just lay down in the grass. The only thing I can think of is her Willow Senses are tingling and she can sense the extra soul in the house... Because husband and I are expecting a baby in April!

She wants me to show you some new(er) photo's of her, because she thinks she's cute or something...

willow15.jpg Here I am beating my cousin to the stick my mommy threw in the pond, he's too slow!

I would say you hit the nail on the head in regards to Willow's intuition about the new baby's arrival in April. CONGRATULATIONS, this is such happy news. My guess is that Willow will become the "Great Protector" over your new baby.

Thank you so much!

She's always been obsessed with children. She plays really well with my two nephews, and used to literally follow my niece around when she was 1-2. Now my niece grabs her by the scruff or her bandanna and walks her around the house saying "c'mon lillow! C'mon!" So I have no worries she'll be great with the baby.

The move has been easy, it was just the actual moving and driving things up that was hard. I'm excited for the snow JUST so I can see how miss priss reacts to getting her feet cold AND wet by the snow. She always gives me the saddest face when we have to go potty and the grass is all dewy or it's been raining. But she'll jump in the pond at the park, or get in the shower to try and drink the water... I don't get her. Haha.
