Summer 2017 Pups Going To New Homes

First time AIDog puppy owner - Ed from Texas. Pictured below is Ed's son holding the new puppy.

The pup is doing great. Got him his first puppy shot yesterday and check for intestinal worms (none). We are staying on the crate schedule with good success. My wife is working late so we'll get a full family pic soon. Our son Eddie is doing great with him (he holds him like he holds his chickens). So far so great guys.

Hey Kim just wanted to shoot you some photos of this little guy and let you know everything went smoothly :) he's adjusting well and chepi is so excited she's having a hard time containing herself!

We have decided to call him Kyber and he is already doing so well. I think my favorite part about him is the cute little freckles on his legs! Haha

Hi Greg & Kim

We are settling in nicely with our new pup, her name is Jasper. She is so smart and intuitive. And the bond between our four year old and her is strong already!

Thank you for all your help, and for our new family member. We will keep updating pictures regularly.

Take care,
Alyssa & Family

Good morning to you both!

As promised I am bringing you up to date on the new arrival at our home here in Austin.

The flight was half an hour early, which did my heart well to see our pup earlier than expected. Within 10 minutes, he was in my arms.

After we got in the car, he whimpered a little but then fell sound asleep in my arms. Almost as if he was completely to the lull of a car ride.

When we got home, 30 minutes later, I fed him and gave him water. Then we walked down our long driveway, to go potty. He didn't urinate, which surprised me after such a long ride in kennel. His kennel was damp, but it seemed to be the water from the cups, so I am not entirely sure he didn't relieve himself in the crate.

Then we entered our home so he could meet my dog Shelby and our two cats. He LOVED Shelby, but was indifferent with the cats. I was intrigued by his curiosity, but also his respect of these new friends. It was almost 2.00 a.m. and I then got the crate ready at my bedside for the night.

I was a little anxious, wondering how the night would go for all of us. I put him in the crate and he started to cry and bark. After I turned out the light he began to whimper. I put my hand in the cage to assure him I was there and softly said "shhhhhh" over and over. Finally there was not a peep, and he slept until 7:30 a.m. At around 6:00 a.m. a massive storm ripped through our area, with lots of lightening and thunder and torrents of rain. Even though it woke both my husband and I, puppy did not make a peep! He either slept through it or was unbothered by it. Either way, it was wonderful!

I took him outside and he urinated immediately. As we were walking outside, on our property, two big bucks suddenly appeared in front of us. He looked at them and stopped. He was on a leash, but I wondered if he would try to run. I used the opportunity for a recall and luckily I had the sense to bring a treat. I called for him and he immediately gave me eye contact and ran towards me. Wow!! We are off to an amazing start.

He is settling so well, and we feel as if we have always had him. He is a wonderful little puppy and I cannot wait to begin training.

Right now he is in his cage, sound asleep. Comfortable and content. I know he is happy and his life here will be balanced and full of joy.

I am busy in the kitchen cooking for family that is coming later, and he is not the least bothered with all the noise.

I will send a picture as soon as he awakens from his nap. Never wake up a sleeping baby!

We have not decided on a name yet, and want to make sure his personality fits the name we choose.

Greg, thank you so much for all the running around you did to make this event happen. Please know how much we appreciate your time and effort.

talk soon!

Debbie - TX
