Sherab 2,337
Thank you Kim for your service in Vietnam. Thank you to all vets. Wakinyan, who was born on Pearl Harbor day almost 5 years ago, has a few words to say. "Hi. Me like Vets, unless they poke bottom with temperature take stick." No Waki that's Veterans - the guys in the parade. "oh. Me like them. They pet head good." "It one whole people life time and many dog lifetime since Pearl Harbor. 75 years. We remember WW II generation today. Mommy say they were good and I would have liked them." To all vets we salute you and we remember those that are gone as we enjoy the simple freedoms of a glorious summer day. Edited May 30, 2016 by Sherab

NorCal 350
I love that yellow gate--lovely words too!
Sherab 2,337
Thank you NorCal. The gate is in the Frank Lloyde Wright design because the house was built by Red Warner who studied under one of Wrights students. China we have Meijers in Midland that carries several flavors made by Kona Brewing in Hawaii. I'll snag a 6 pac and put it in the airstream frig (provided they aren't sold out - couldn't get my fav coconut beer by a Big Rapids brewery today but it's Memorial day which means Beer in Michigan). I really like the Longboard. Lots of flavor, mid range, not too dark or light or hoppy. Edited May 31, 2016 by Sherab
Chinatola 927
We came across the KLB on a trip about 10-12 years ago to islands. That was before Kona Brewing was bought out by InBev or whoever picked them up. Fun that we can get there here in the mainland now but it's lost some of its mystique for us...still a good brew though, yes.
