Kuschel 253
Xochitl - or "Soh-chee" or "Soh-cheel" - it means flower/feminine and strength in Aztec. This lovely lady was such a trooper when we flew from Austin, picked her up in Selma, and then drove back home over a period of 4 days. She is the littermate of Zola and weighing in at 11.6lbs at 8 weeks today. It has been a while since we've had a puppy in the house and oh my is she a stubborn one. Shaun and I are learning patience and tough love all over again. I do have to give credit where it is due though. She knows sit, lay down, and sleeps in her kennel through the night. She went through her first shots and mild dewormer like a champ and our day looks like the following - crazy energy, chill time, nap, rinse repeat. She has definitely brought some life into our house. Xochitl cracks me up because her markings make it look like she is concerned looking all the time! Sherab 2,337
What a cutie. I wonder which state has the most indian dogs outside of Oregon. Texas sure seems to have a lot.
KittynDoc 968
Amazing pictures of your new little one!!! BEAUTIFUL pup, and what a great name. I just bought a toy in anticipation, and some chews to keep him/her busy for a bit. We got "the call", and are SO excited! Wish we were in a position to go out to Selma, but sadly not in the cards for us. So we will "save" our pup from the airlines when he/she arrives, hopefully in the next few days!

I wish we had some sort of list. I would love to have her play with another AI Dog in the Austin area! Also, expect lots of pics in the future. It is how we roll!

LakeGirl 779
Wonderful post and photos! So glad to now know how to pronounce "Xochitl" (had seen the name in print before, it looked like such a tongue twister") lovely meaning to the name also.
