June Pups--2010

Recommended Posts

Kim tells me that the pups are starting to arrive! Also, his beautiful, little, yearly swallows and other birds are hatching their eggs, all through the oak trees, and within the dog compounds. He says, "The place is alive with whining pups & chirping birds".

He also mentioned that they got caught in the strong winds that whipped through the region, yesterday. Two large Oaks came down near the compounds, and one within one compound, barely missing the fence, and they lost electricity all day and into the night.

But no need to worry, all the dogs are fine, with lots of extra fire wood for next winter.

More pup information to follow soon. Congratulations to all you folks on the waiting list!

How exciting is this news!! Congrats everyone on the (top of) the waiting list.

Yesterday, Joan started looking at the calendar to figure out when we should put our name on the list for our next AI pup.

We can hardly wait for the pup pictures to start rolling in. And, then, the naming of the people who get pups. And, then the naming of the pups.

What an exciting time....

Spring pups so far:

1. - Blue X Shappa - had 2 pups - eyes are just opening

2. - Echo X Rocky - had 5 pups

3. - Peyote X Nova - 6 pups

4. - Shasta X Jay's - are due any day now

5. - Sonoma X Rowdy - due in 2 weeks

6. - Katchina X Jay - in the honey moon "breeding shack & private

kennel" - as we speak

Would enjoy help & sharing socializing pups within the next 2 weeks to 3 months if any one has the time & would enjoy playing with lots of pups

If any of you have time, this is a stellar experience.

Hello Gary and Terri, and welcome. Kim will send pictures, soon.

I do think this is Blue's first, Molly. Kim said she is being a very attentive mother.

Molly, you should tell Kim how much you admire her. Some day she will be retired, and maybe he will be looking for a home for her!

Great idea Karen, thanks. I think I'll pay a visit to Blue while at the gathering, and put the bee in Kim's cowboy hat.

Just wanted to introduce myself and my lovely wife. John and Jody Stratton, we are presently on the waiting list and looking forward to our first AI dog. We live down here in the San Diego area. My wife is very excited about the new addition to our family. In fact she has declared it her remission present, my great wife is presently battling Luekemia and her last round of treatmemt is the first week of July.

The plan is to fly her up (I am going to drive) so she can take part in the puppy selection with Kim, she has know idea that I am going to fly her up so do not tell. I can hardly wait, it will be very exciting for her(and me). I will take lots of pictures when the time comes and post them if my Daughter or Son will show me how to do that.

Welcome John and Jody. Mums the word. She will love the experience at Kim's. It will be a great kick off to the endorphin healing that these dogs can bring.

Hope the medical treatment surpasses your expectations, too. We look forward to meeting you and Jody.

By the way, we can always help with the photos, if the youngsters are busy.

Welcome!

I can't wait to see all of the pictures from your trip, hoping to go up to visit the pups when it's my turn as well. Hopefully the pictures will hold me over as the anticipation is overwhelming haha! By the way, where in San Diego are you? I myself am in Los Angeles for the summer, but go to school in La Jolla.

Welcome aboard John and Jodi. I just wanted to let you in on a little secret....Kim's ranch is magic. There is something very special about the place....40+ dogs, and its really calm and quiet.....go figure. You will definitely have a great time there. Tolinka and I send you best wishes on the remission, and a happy journey to American Indian Dog Land.
