dimsum629 27
Awesome pictures. She look so sweet. Have you ever thought about collecting all the feathers and making stuff outta them?
Gib 291
http://www.iidoba.org/forums/public/style_images/master/attachicon.gifatlastzzzz.jpg Love all the new puppy photos. We didn't really think about it with Draco but that taught us for Wicca. I would heartily recommend to set up a comparison photo now.... Here's the one we did of Draco. The comparison was an afterthought. So, I pre-thought it for Wicca. Here's a couple I did with Wicca. ~~~~ And, remember, these dogs usually know more English than we know SongDog. They especially love doing something cute right up to the moment we get the camera and then they stop...... Edited October 30, 2013 by Gib

Sherab 2,337
We are test driving the name Aurora (Khandro Aurora - sky dancer with the Aurora or Khandro Tsering Aurora - sky dancer of long life with the aurora). The Norse told tales of the Valkarie - fierce female sky dancers - the reflections of their shields were the northern lights. Because she just looks so fierce....

Starghoti 466
It appears Waki now finally has his Mercurial Partner in Crime! SOOOO Happy for him! And LOVE the shot of Cake with your big guy.
Sherab 2,337
Waki is over the moon. It's fun watching him mature and make decisions like protecting her or deciding that "his" toy is not as much fun as Cake. Also he's trying to set boundaries, sometimes clumsily. The bed time boundary is funny because as long as we've had him Waki puts himself to bed at 9 and sleeps in as long as possible. She is more of a 2 hours awake! 2 asleep! 24-7. She's getting stronger and faster, too.

Diz 10
The photo of just her eyes is mesmerizing. It gives a great sense of how wise these dogs are. I swear the first AI dog I met was almost telepathic. I know that sounds crazy, but I've never met other dogs that could communicate so much with just their eyes.
Sherab 2,337
Tonight a break through in acceptance. Waki has been very sensitive about Cake touching him after 9pm (the time Waki's body shuts down and he puts himself to bed). If you touch Waki between 9 and morning he makes sleepy noises of disapproval. Cake has gotten corrections for touching him after bed time but not tonight. Tonight she understood bed time and he understood it was ok for her to touch him while sleeping, provided she was attempting to sleep too.

It takes various amounts of time, but if yours are anything like ours, the bonds they form are amazing.... About an hour north after picking Wicca up, she cuddled up to Draco for comfort and he put his arm around her. It, I believe, is great comfort for the little one to have a big one to lay on. And, it's a joy to be able to wrestle with the big dogs...... Enjoy the love....
wag65 84
I am worried about introducing our puppy to the other two dogs in our home.....any suggestions?
judyk 43
We never had a problem when the AID pups were brought in. BUT our one AID did not like any other dogs, it was ugly!!! Our method has always been everyone meets outside!!! It is extremely rare that an older dog will hurt a pup. Granted they may not be gentle in checking them out. We did have that, but hurt them we have never had a problem and we have always had at least three AIDs at one time. We are currently working on number four!!!! Sherab 2,337
Sorry about the butt shot but I wanted to show you the color coming in on Aurora's tail. She's a real tail curler too. Anyone else have an older dog that curls his or her tail over? Waki still has ears that flop at the tip when he runs but Miss Cake has perfect elf ears. Here she is with her hero Miss Tara. And with Waki We've had this tunnel for 11 years & 5 dogs. It's survived Texas summer, Michigan winter but Waki has been after it, and it's starting to show it's age. She's growing! Waki took forever but she's already outgrown some things.

Joyous1 86
Congrats Sherab on a beautiful pup! Red with green eyes...can't go wrong with that! I'm sure she'll fit in right away with your pack as if she had been there all along. I absolutely adore the diamond on her tail. Aquene has a diamond on her shoulders. I consider it to be an A.I.D. beauty mark. Please keep sending pictures!!
Diz 10
Love the pictures of Cake! Is Tara a GSD? Cake looks so tiny next to her.
