New York Pup

Recommended Posts

Here is our photo we took this morning as a family and a few more. He is doing well, he was very excited to get out of the crate and play. Our Shiba was not very thrilled but she is warming up and she even played with him this morning. He does not seem afraid of her at all but he already knows to not be overbearing with her. He is perfect, thank you so much!

Hi everyone! This is the new mama of our pup, we named him Kajika! I'll be starting another thread or updating on this one soon.

KittynDoc nice to meet you! I wonder if your Wyot is as wild and crazy as our Kajika lol he really has got comfortable here and letting his true colors shine and putting those sharp teeth and claws to use! I'll give a proper update soon I hope.

Welcome Kajika! Nice to meet you too! Wyot is a little character, and yes, he is a wild and crazy little guy...SO full of amazing personality! Chewing on everything he shouldn't, and then looking innocently at you as if to say "What? I wasn't doing anything..." and go to chewing what he knows he should- beware as soon as your back is turned, lol!!! Make sure the sharp little teeth don't accidentally rip holes in your pants, socks or even shirt as he jumps up...we have found the water squirt bottle works best..now he just sees it and does what he knows he should. :P

Looking forward to updates on how your guy develops, and listening to his antics as he melds into your family and becomes a wonderful part of it! Enjoy!

....and Merry Christmas!

Well, we are in the Catskills...not sure where Kajika's famly is from, but I do believe it may also be somewhere in western NY state.

My stepson just finished his fall semester there. It is at least 2 and half hours from us...hope all is going well with Kajika!

Maybe we can find a middle ground to meet somewhere for us NY AI dog owners at some point...a nice thought.... :)

NyteByker, I grew up in NYC, so know only too well the yucky city part, and the Long Island parking lot, lol! Not only that, but it costs at least 30 dollars in tolls....

It's a hike but you are most welcome to join us over Memorial Day week end in Sanford MI. I have 7 acres and we can put you up - perhaps in the barn. It's a nice barn, just ask Chinatola...Or you can bring a tardis like Forrest and plug it in.
