andrea 10
We have some Tahlatan bear dog (cross) siblings. Wonderful dogs! We want to breed them We are looking for sires, or unspayed females, to either participate in a breeding program or that we could adopt/buy. I'd love to hear from anyone who has a dog with Tahltan Bear Dog bloodlines. Best regards, Andrea

Allison 2,369
You would have to talk to Kim La Flamme, about that. He has helped support the Tahltan Bear Dog gene pool in the past, and he is the one who would know the bloodlines. Kim maintains strict control over the breeding in order to insure the American Indian Dog will last into the future, as it was in the past. We owners sign an agreement to spay and neuter our dogs, and we do not condone backyard breeding. You can reach Kim by email. I am sure he would be glad to talk to you. Agreed ref. the backyard breeding and spay/neuter; have done this religiously with all my other dogs. We don't want to be yahoos about this but really really want to perpetuate the bloodlines of these wonderful dogs.

Allison 2,369
Andrea, Kim tells me you've been in touch, and are exchanging stories, photos, and addresses of people that you have in common. So glad to hear that the contact has been good.

andrea 10
What a sweetie she is! (Or looks like. Perhaps she is a devil.) Yes, alot of both; although I guess we only call her a devil when she (routinely) outsmarts us! A photo of her with our other (heinz 57 SPCA rescue) dog, Oliver.
