Arlene has asked me to post this, so I am posting the link. I want to warn you that it's very disturbing about someone who is killing, mutilating, and perhaps torturing cats.

What's wrong with people?

This makes me absolutely ill. If there is one thing I CANNOT tolerate, it's animal cruelty/ abuse/ neglect! Extreme as this may sound, these people should be hung. No excuses for this kind of behavior.

Enter: KIMBERLY'S WRATH/ RANT

THEIR LIVELIHOODS AND DESTINIES are DIRECT results of the decisions and choices we make!

I just got a picture from a friend in CO. of a pit bull puppy she adopted over a year ago. SKIN AND BONES. Tail tucked. No eye contact in any picture. Head always hanging low. Poor guy.... now he's confident, beautiful, healthy and strong.

I have another friend that adopted a Weimarener (sp?)... 1 year old... SKIN AND BONES, again. Where are these people FROM?!? WHAT MAKES THEM THINK THAT THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR IS EVEN REMOTELY OKAY?!?

Ugh. Sorry... vent session now over.

Happy Friday, everyone... enjoy your weekends! :)

I'm with you. There are, clearly, too many people.

Too true! We had a problem with a cat killer in town too, but it suddenly stopped, haven't heard any more just lately. don't know if anyone got caught, but it stopped.

I picked up 3 red eared sliders form the RSPCA the other day, people buy them when they are little, don't realise they are growing to get the size of dinner plates. Some have been released into the wild, not so much a fear as those pythons over your side!

We do have big black cats in the wilds of Exmoor and Dartmoor though and one has been seen about here, but no-one has really proven that they are there!

But I have spoken to people I know well and they have seen them, no record of them having hurt anybody, so let them be is my motto.

I had to look that one up in Wiki:

Red-Eared Slider

"They're so cute when they're little!"

Yeah, my parents said the same thing about me.

So what do you call them over there, I know they are very common in the more southerly states.

Yes my Mum said so too, all blonde curls and freckles. but you aren't seeing the pictures!

Oh I see now, red-eared terrapins, they are quite cute when they are bigger too, but they can't half bite if you aren't careful!
