Marcel 2
Beautiful animal!! Any way we can get a bio of the dog/owners? it would be nice to get to know a little about the dog and what was going on when the picture was taken. Thanks! Todd Baingana is a 3 years old male dog and is out of the litter of Kokapilli X Red Rider. When Baingana is offleash he loves to chase rabbits or birds. I never know where he is , I only hear him barking but when I whistle he always comes back right away. So I thought it would be a nice shot to take a picture when he comes running towards me. So it really was a lucky shot to catch him jumping.
Tim 1
Nice Catch. Love that action picture. It's hard to explain to people what these dogs look like when the run. The picture kind of says it all.
Allison 2,369
The picture kind of says it all. My thoughts exactly. He is so "engaged". I remember that word was used recently, but in another context--protection. Looking at this photo, I feel I should have answered, "Yes they will engage, but perhaps not in the way you intend." I love the freshness. I can taste the air. An excellent moment in time. Good Catch, Marcel! You have taken some excellent photos. Have you studied photography?

Marcel 2
You have taken some excellent photos. Have you studied photography? No I didn't. When I have my camara with me I always take a lot of pictures so there will always be some good ones.
Karen 41
No I didn't. When I have my camara with me I always take a lot of pictures so there will always be some good ones. Ha....that is my approach to photograpy, too. Still, you have to have a decent eye to notice the good shot. He looks so happy! I voted for "flying", BTW, so I'm thrilled to see this picture here. Allison 2,369
It is quite fun to open to, isn't it?
Allison 2,369
No I didn't. When I have my camara with me I always take a lot of pictures so there will always be some good ones. That is very good advice for me. I think like the old cameras where you only have so many shots. I need to let go, and click away.
Jamacee 1
You know what my favorite part of that picture is? The look on his face. Tho he is flying thru the air running his silly head off the look on his face is still slightly panting like he was just sittin there chillin. You can tell by his body he is in motion. The look on his face however you would never know. Like if all you could see of that pic was his face you'd never know he was in midair. I voted for this one too! Fantastically fun! Allison 2,369
Just caught, again, by this excellent picture. If some of you do not open to the front page, I would recommend it. To me, that look on the face is, "Aahhhh, I see you my human, taking my picture." They can be so aware of their surroundings. Focused, but still aware. Not at all like a Lab, that can chase a ball 1 hundred times, and still be totally focused on that ball. This dog is flying through the air, and taking in his owner, and the camera, and the terrain,.... They see like humans see--multifaceted and multitasking.
