The world of unfulfilled canines keeps Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan employed with plenty of dog problems. But, the crossing of wolves and domestic dogs has led to a whole new set of problems with the wolf-dog hybrid. Cesar’s expertise with dogs only goes so far, so he brings in wolf-dog expert Jennifer McCarthy to aid him in this special episode.

Together, Cesar and Jennifer visit the Galvez family, whose wolf-dog Sheba has been destroying the backyard and running rampant through the neighborhood. Milo Sanchez’s hybrid Ramses has a bone to pick with Milo’s English Mastiff Roscoe. The two have been in a couple of expensive fights already. Sofie belongs to Janice Reins and Charlie Mendez and has a knack for destroying and escaping whatever confines here. All three cases features wild animals trapped in a dog’s body. Cesar and Jennifer answer the call of the wild, but can they bring balance to these confused canine hybrids?

I am not seeing the video, but Jennifer has been in touch with Kim, and they are continuing to work together for the cause. More news to come.

Take as loooooooong as it takes......Honor the animal.......Very powerful information in this short clip. I too will be looking for the longer version of Ceasar's experience with the wolf dog. Interesting, I like that he compared horse training with teaching the wolf dog.

The other night on Public Broadcasting System (PBS) there was an extremely interesting program entitled "Dogs Decoded". It showed how dogs evolved -- and the one experiment that was done explained how they took four wolf cubs and TRIED to domesticate them - it worked until they were four months old -- explained and showed how this animal cannot be tamed and cannot become a pet!!! Everything that Kim has preached about the wolf hybrids - can't be done -- they were successful, however, with the silver fox. Very interesting watch, if you can find it!!!!

Oh, that would be soooo cool, to have a fox for a pet. Probably coolest pet ever.

OK, I want one! A fox, that is, not a sable. That sable is really cool, though. I just like having water glasses and books around too much.

I don't think it would be such a fabulous life for the fox, but this one is very cool. He seems happy. He's also the most socialized fox I saw on video.

Haven't seen this episode but would prove interesting, I have known a good friend who had a European wolf from Spain, he picked her up as an injured pup and treated her like a dog, he kept her on his large yacht in the Mediterannean, it wasn't until he brought her back into this country and they asked him if he had a licence to import wild animals that he learnt she was a wolf!

We knew her for years, she was adorable, but knew who she liked and who she didn't. I was accepted as no detriment to her standing with Hugh, but she did n ot really like his partner at all, maybe she was right, she caused him no end of problems and they divorced in the end!

Zacca lived until she was 18, and Hugh never found anther dog he really took too until he met Shunka!

Hugh was always her alpha, and this was the thing that worked I think.

Wheeeeeeew! Too much energy for me. :) Looks like they devoted an entire room for these little guys to frolic in. However, they do look like they are having the time of their lives. :)
