Dixiechick 0
Hi I am from not so sunny England! I have been interested in the American Indian dog for some years now. I have read books and surfed around on the net. What I was wondering is if there was anyone from England on this forum?? I hope to get to know some people and their dogs!! Anyway that is all. Allison 2,369
Hi Dixiechick! We do have some owners in England, and I am trying to get them on the forum. Let me check with a few people, and I'll see if I can give you an email address for someone close to you. There is a famous AIDog in England--a movie star! Although I hear he is still unspoiled by fame.

I have read a few books on this lovely breed but it just isn't the same as seeing one in the flesh as it were. Any way thanks

Allison 2,369
Hey, are those two dogs in your avatar? Do you still have them? Who are they, and what kind of personalities do they have? AIDogs get along with lots of dogs, but they often try to step right into first place. It is sometimes better to get a pup, and let him grow into his place. But, of course, we have all sorts of families and family situations, that work. Probably depends more on the monkeys, than the dogs, right?
Dixiechick 0
Hi Yes the 2 dog's in the avatar are our current 2 lunatics!! They are a 3 year old CKC spaniel, Ozzy, and a 11 month old Border Terrier/Jack Russell, Alfie. They are fabulous and very very silly!! They both get on very well together and with other dogs, although Alfie can be a bit nervous of new people/dogs on first meetings and prefers to stand back and bark for a bit (to make himself look braver than he is!) Also in our hectic, oops happy!, household I have a fab Hubby and 3 gorgeous children. 2 girls aged 5 1/2 and 1, and a boy aged 3. So it is vital that all our dogs get on with children and don't mind being climbed on, having ears pulled, being patted (hard!!!) and generally being put upon!! Luckily both Ozzy and Alfie are quite content to put up with everything and love the children to bits, especially when they have food as they always drop lots of crumbs!! I have had dogs for over 20 years, I am now 32!! sob sob! and have had a variety of breeds, I don't have a favorite breed as I am a dog lover not a breed lover. I became interested in the AIDog several years ago now after finding them by accident during a random web search! I have always had an interest in Native Americans and I love wolves and wild dogs. So ofcourse the AIDogs really caught my attention and over the years my enthusiasum hasn't altered and I still find them a remarkable dog and I am very interested in the wonderful work Kim Laflamme is doing. Sadly though I have yet to meet one of these dogs in person as you all seem to live in America! But I haven't given up hope and maybe one day we can get to meet one and then hopefully maybe own one. Well I have rambled on, I do apologise!!

He is (was) the puppy on the right hand of the seven with the white blaze, so was here before me! I live in Somerset, Sarah would know where everyone else is as she has bred most of the dogs (if not all) she is in Wales. You can contact her through her web page. liz 9
Hey Liz, thanks for helping out, and nice to see you.Do you mean the puppies of the IIDOBA banner? Here. Yes I do! But I was making him older than he is poor lad, he is 9 on 29th May not 10! Must be my mind fading in old age, it certainly isn't his! Dixiechick thinks he is stunning! So do I, but it's nice to know he's grown up well! We don't ever regret getting him, he so special and tuned into us, it's hard to describe, but I expect everyone knows what I mean! If I can be of any more help, I am more than willing to try! Liz
