Its Been A Long Time

Recommended Posts

I haven't been on the forum for such a long time. Lots of new "dog faces" to see.

My Hawk will be 14 this Christmas and is still going strong. He is almost completely deaf and is beginning to have vision problems. Other than that he is my "love bug" and wouldn't know what I would do without him.

For those of you who are new puppy parents you have begun an amazing journey with an amazing dog. They are truly one of a kind. Once they come into your lives they give you unconditional love, and companionship.

We still have people asking us "what kind of dog is that, or is that a coyote" almost every time we go anywhere, especially while camping.

Hawk and I want to give a "woof, woof" if any of his remaining litter mates are still around. He and his brothers were born Dec. 25, 2004 to Sierra and Rouges Red Rider. He lost two of his brothers many years ago, but should have two left. They are Ronin and Shawn.

His three nephews Maii, Talker and Chief are still crazy as ever. We love our Indian dogs!

Hello Hawk and Lisa! I am so glad to see that he is still with you. I miss Coyo so much.

There are many posts of you and Hawk on the forum. I will post a few links.

Please give him a hug from me.

Much affection,

A

I could not find the picture of you and Hawk hiking with the girls...? Do you remember that one? You had stopped for a rest while hiking, and you were out with a group. It was a great picture. There were a lot of photos from around that time, of Hawk and you, out and about.

I would love to see those again, if you can find them in your files. Send them to me. He needs a dog of the month.

Hi Lisa,

I haven't been to the dog park much lately, but have thought of you and Hawk, and I'so glad he's doing well. Frankie is now 1 1/2, healthy & happy and a real sweetheart, and mellowing out:) Would love to see you two sometime. Berta
