LOL! I was on a business call (my idea of multitasking) and opened this link - when I saw the topic title :P

I gasped with GLEE and under my breath ..... an OMG!!!!!!! owwwwwwhhhh such cuteness ...... !!!!!!!!

I had to clasp my hand quickly over my mouth - it was such an involuntary reaction to the PUPPY PIX!

and of course happy to hear of the new confirmed pregnancy :D

I'll be combing the old posts to see if there's any pics of other Shasta x Jay litters.

I will also enjoy seeing pix of Kona and Peyote's pups with Rowdy this time B) and viewing their previous litters.

I don't know why, really because the pups change so much from pup to adult ..... Ahhh puppy pix!!!!!! and Gathring pix - there are so many different looking adults - a kalidescope of AI Dogs :DAWESOME

Now that's a picture and a story! Awesome.

What's that Cake? Cake would like to lend out her name of Baby Doll because you definitely have one. She'd also like you to know she likes puppies and is available to baby sit (too bad we're in Michigan).

Somewhere on this site, I think under new pup forum, someone asked me if I had a name picked out. I replied, ending with "Not Lakota, Dakota, Kodiak, Spirit.... " and then said that for those who joined this group more recently to go find that thread and read it, for the responses from members were funny.

To me they were quite funny, but I just realized how that might have sounded. What Kim requested regarding names was quite important and serious. I don't know how to tell the newer members how to find that, but it is important to read since you have to register your dog and return papers to Kim. The funny part was how some of the members, who I am sure took what Kim said seriously, made fun of those of us naming our dogs. I just wanted to be sure I let everyone know I typed quickly, w/o really reviewing how what I said might have sounded. I meant no disrespect, only some humor.

I did not detect even the slightest fragrance of disrespect.

Here is the thread :http://www.iidoba.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=3233&hl=dakota&do=findComment&comment=29231

and another: http://www.iidoba.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=2888&hl=names&do=findComment&comment=25277

I usually open 2 windows onto the forum. This one for posting an answer and another for searching (in this case for Dakota) and copying the address of the post (up by the back button highlight the whole string where it starts WWW.blah blah blah

To search scroll to the top and in the right hand top corner put your search word in the field called search. Make sure you pick "forums" vs "this topic". There is also an advanced search but haven't needed it yet.

Here are more on registration

Why it's important: http://www.iidoba.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=3308&hl=mica

Morning Deborah,

No offense taken by me! I understood the humor about the comments - we seem to be a delightfully sarcastic bunch finding ironic humor in a lot of things - at least from the postings and the jokes section :P

It is a serious request about the names and you are so right that the people arriving on after that posting should read because it will help them determine an "official, registered" name (not necessarily the everyday name and other nick names you will call your dog by).

PS The name BBob is still available for registration as far as I know .... (read the post / Sherab gave a shortcut, find out who BBob is!)

Sherab,

Thanks for the info on how to find, etc. I learn something everyday!

Last night I had three windows (tabs) open all to the forum = looking at Dancer, Kona & Peyote puppy pixs ....... just drooling away!

All the different faces, reactions to the camera, etc.

Next time I will bring up Kona's winter/spring litter and this one and click back and forth *or with separate windows set upside by side, look at both at once! Ohhh, lunchtime at work - with two monitors .... gives a girl something to look forward to! :D

Good to see some people with pups, it makes my husband ask when he and I get ours...lol I tell him, perhaps she isn't born yet...I have a positive feeling about Shasta for some reason. We just hope for the best for all concerned.
