Karen 41
Really simple, easy recipe. I've been making Kong stuffing and freezing it, which is great for Danza since she has to wait for it to thaw in order to really get at it, and in the meantime she can fuss with the Kong. This would be good to put in with all of the other stuff. I can't wait to try it! Sweet Potato Chews
Allison 2,369
My dogs and also my Parrot LOVE sweet potatoes, but yams, even more. I will try it. Thanks. So very easy.
Starghoti 466
as a treat, I made banana chips with a little seaweed granules on them.. for the dogs- planning on bringing some to the Gathering. I will probably have to wait for the sweet potato chews, as Mina is, sadly- allergic
Karen 41
I'm going to borrow a dehydrator and see if that goes better. They took many, many hours to dry properly and must have cost a fortune in electricity. Sweet potatoes are much more nutritious than yams. Who knew? Now I don't make yams any more, unless I can't find sweet potatoes. (And I thought of seaweed, too, Star! Great minds. Nutritional yeast would probably go over big, too.
