From Kim:

 Hi Kim
Chota had his first vet appointment. He had another round of wormer and shots. He did great.
He is now 11 lbs, doubled in size.
He is a big hit with everyone that meets him.
Thanks again for the perfect boy!

From Kim

PICK-UP; We picked her up today at about 1700. We really enjoyed her. My wifes sister and husband met us at home.  I had to pry her out of my sister in laws arms. I will get pictures to you tomorrow. She is beautiful. We are so happy to have her here.

NEXT MORNING; My wife walked in the room this morning and surprised the puppy.  Startled; she kind of growled then realized who it was and got so excited. She kind of whined and just couldn't get close enough to my wife. She ran around and followed Melody for 10 minutes. I think she is used to us already

From Kim:

HI Kim and Arlene,

We are down to one more week for the PARVO issue to be over.  He has had his last booster shot.

We are very, very happy with Kanati.  People stop us all the time and wonder what breed he is.

We end up telling the whole story about the American Indian Dog (song dog).  He is very special,

very smart and a joy to watch him grow (fast).  He was 20 lbs. a couple days ago.  The vet was very

taken by him.  He knew nothing about the AI dog and we could see he was very pleased to learn

about them.  Our daughter will be up from LA next weekend and we will go on a long hike in our

favorite regional park.  She might be interested in a dog herself.

Meeting Patrick and Lizette and Chaska has been great.  We get together for play dates.  I think it

is good for the dogs to stay in touch.

Be in touch soon with updates.  Feel free to use any pictures I send you on your website or the owners forum.

Kim,

She has adjusted well. This morning when my wife got up and walked into the room the puppy went wild.  She wouldn't leave Melody alone. She whined with joy and couldn't get close enough to her. Very touching.

FROM KIM:

Don’t know what # he was in the birth order, but there were 3 in the litter from Little Bear X Shappa (you can see them on the breeders page) on my web site --- I kept a chocolate male from this litter for future breeding.
