Hello Everyone - I'd like to introduce you to my new AI pup, Darmok. Darmok is nearly 10 weeks old now and nearly 15 pounds! He's been home with me now for about 2 weeks and is just a bundle of energy. He has mostly housetrained himself and rarely has any sort of accident. He even runs down the stairs and sits at the back door barking when he needs to go out.

We are working on several "nots", not biting, not running off with my boots, not carrying the broom out of the kitchen to where ever he thinks it should be.

I am a disabled Veteran and Darmok will be my Service Dog when he is older. He officially begins his puppy training next week (with the owner of Positive Approach dog training school in Tacoma who is a credentialed, certified dog trainer), and will be putting on his Service Dog in Training Vest sometime in April.

I love this little guy and look forward to many years with him.

Congratulations! What a beauty Darmok is! I can't wait to see pictures of him in his training vest; I'm sure he will be adorable, but must importantly, he will make a fantastic service dog! These AI dogs are simply amazing. Best of luck and lots of happy moments to you both!

That is awesome! It is a lot of work, but these dogs are so worth it!

Tayamni trained as a certified Therapy Dog at a year and 2 months and Coffey is a great ESA and still working on his CGC skills to then move him up to PSA (with training).

He's just taking a little longer.

I think your guy will be a quick learner!

Keep us updated on y'alls adventures and training!

First, I want to thank you for your service. The men in my family, 4 generations, have been on that journey, so thank you so very much.

I know that Darmok will be exactly what you are looking for in a service dog, and so much more...OMG, so much more. Keep us posted on this part of your journey with Darmok. I have a feeling that you are going to be amazed at their intelligence and spirit.

Wishing you the best.
