LakeGirl 779
We take Kaposia to a holistic vet. In each exam room there is one large split gemstone geode on the exam counters (amethyst, citrine, etc.) Ever since Kaposia was a tiny puppy, she has homed in on those geodes, sniffing licking, and rubbing against them. The first time she witnessed this behavior, the vet was very surprised and said she'd never seen a dog react to the geodes, only cats. I recently purchased two gemstone bracelets, one made of Lake Superior agates, and the other made of morganite beads. When I wear them, Kaposia reacts to them just like to the geodes at the vet's office, she's very attracted to them. Anyone else had similar experiences?
LakeGirl 779
So, I've become intrigued with natural gemstones. Stones give off different frequencies. It's simple physics and no more "woo-woo" than your quartz watch or an old quartz crystal radio. Ancient civilizations did use stones for healing. When studying Traditional Chinese Medicine we learned that every organ and tissue in the body has a different frequency, so it does make sense. I've begun making and collecting stretch bracelets made from natural, untreated stone beads. If I happen to wear one to bed, Kaposia finds it even in the dark and begins sniffing and licking it. She's picking up on something...? It is not easy to find genuine turquoise beads. There are a lot of imitations out there. I was delighted to find that you can order directly from the Kingman Mine in Arizona if anyone else has been looking for turquoise.
Allison 2,369
I don't know much about this, but Kooskie is really tuned in to lots of subtle things. How fun. I might have to try a new necklace on her, and see if she likes it. She did not like the neon glow stick necklace, I gave her for Halloween.
miz molly 1,800
All three of my pups are into the crystals....When I first introduced them to crystals, they wouldn't leave them alone. As you say, licking them, mouthing them, rolling on them.......Now they are used to them and go about their day. It's the energy that each crystal that they are attracted to.....the pups are VERY sensitive to different energies, why not the crystals too.
