tawa 1
Hi folks (especially Kim and Allison): Well folks Eyota is now 2 years old and quite a woman. We were up in the norther part of Finland (commonly called Lapland) this summer for holiday. We took this picture of Eyota relaxing in a cove in the Gulf of Bothnia (sits between Finland and Sweden). http://i498.photobucket.com/albums/rr348/WReynolds_2009/Eyota%20January%202010/P1060548.jpg Take care, Wallace, Tarja and family

I think your up coming adventures with Eyota are going to be really rewarding. I hope you write us about your experiences. There is a new book published that is about the search and rescue dogs of 9/11......... Couldn't agree with you more. Thank you everybody it is so nice to share the good news with you. As the trainig goes on my dog is teaching me more and more. Today she showed me that the person we were looking for was in totally different location than I had lead her to search. She tried to sign me that direction is wrong but I was too concentrated to get task done that I was not reading her propely. I send her off and she took for my horrow a totally wrong direction(I thought). I told her to come back and she left again to wrong direction. She stopped her running for a moment and looked at me-and dissapered. After a few minutes I was told by radiophone that she had got the person we were after from totally different location that I had guide her to go.These are so humbling experiences-I should be the leader? It makes me occasitionally wonder.. Do you remember the name of the author of that book? with love from Tarja and Eyota
