Tervlab 152
Had to take some time off at the neighborhood dog park...Teak discovered squirrels and they discovered him. After that, playing with all his buddies was OUT OF THE QUESTION. He could not focus on anything but those darn squirrels. Almost climbed a couple different trees...They would come down just out of reach & stare at him eye to eye. It was hilarious but annoying all at the same time...At one point I think he held completely motionless for a solid 2 minutes waiting for the squirrel to come around the tree...he could hear it coming down the other side...
LakeGirl 779
LOVE the photo of Teak among the tree trunks!
KittynDoc 968
OMG!!! This will be Wyot....we have almost over two feet of snow right now...and still counting, so the chipmunks (and squirrels) he's HEARD, but NOT SEEN yet, are hibernating again. I am sure it will be hysterical to watch as well, I LOVE the picture of Teak in the tree!! If it is any indication when Wyot found a bone in the field right by our house, it took me half an hour to get him back on leash, just to walk 300 feet down to the back door! I let him have the bone, but he thought I would take it away from him, even though I kept saying what a good boy he was...slippery as a bar of soap, LOL!! Needless to say, that entire bone was gone in about an hour. Good snack.
LakeGirl 779
Yes, they're very "cagey" when they think they've got something contraband. Takes two of us sometimes to recover socks or underwear snatched on laundry day!
woodrat 399
Same here too! My guys won't play in the backyard right now, all they want to do is sit and stare at the trees!
Sherab 2,337
We have all sorts of drunken acting de-hibernation process critters stumbling about the banks and woods. So much nose fluting. My two go def at this time.
