Gib 291
A new woman was working at our local, walking distance, boutique pet store yesterday. We walked in with Draco & Wicca and she greeted us and started closing the distance between us. As she did I watched her eyes change while she was glancing back & forth at the two dogs. She started asking questions, "What kind of dogs are these? Are they feral rescues? Are they Red Wolf hybrids? Did you teach them to look people in the eye? Are they always this calm & centered? Are they native to the U.S.? I love the intelligence and the wildness." We had a nice conversation. We gave her just the appetizer and told them the full meal was at the kennel website and the forums and mentioned the forums had the "Dog of the Month" feature. You are an exquisite creature, Sequoiawind.
miz molly 1,800
Hooorey, a new "dog of the month." Sequoia is absolutely stunning. He is so lucky to be a "sailor dog" with Dianna and Scott. Hope all is going well for you three.
Chinatola 927
Lili is becoming famous in the neighborhood because we have a little startup pet boutique called All Pet Pantry and they have been spreading the word about the little Indian dog that comes in from time to time. They carry the Orijen product and we go semi-regularly to visit and hang out with the cats (who are none too pleased with Lili's presence let me tell you!) So I was wandering around town recently with Lili in tow and a woman came up to me and asked 'is this the little Indian dog?' !!!!! She said that at first she thought that she was a little GSD pup but as she got closer she realized that she wasn't GSD but she couldn't pin it down. She'd remembered talking to the people at All Pet Pantry and realized that this was probably the little Indian dog! She wanted to know everything and anything and right then! I was involved for probably 30-45 minutes explaining Kim and the mission and the dogs and Waki, Wicca, Draco, Jasper, Tolinka and Cake and even Drogon! She was enthralled! It's amazing how much this dog has created interaction between me and neighbors that I hadn't met or only informally knew prior to her coming into our lives! It's incredible really. Sequoia is a beautiful dog!

Sherab 2,337
Allison I second that! And with the other 2 also. Chief must be all grown up now. I don't think anyone recently posting has that color pattern either.
