I don't know how it is where you live, but it is clearly Spring here, in Waitsburg.

Hope you are all loving the sun, and that we won't be cursing it come August.

Oh man! What a day. Extending our garden. All (fence) work and no play on a beautiful day. Ayita is wasted. I think the heat zapped her itty bitty boddy. She works hard keeping up with us.

Okay, Greg, how many fish did you catch?

Sherab, seems there were some cool pics last year of the fatbike thing...Cake in bells?

Well I was going to start work on the garden but I just couldn't get myself to work on such a beautiful day. I got started late on the fishing and did not catch anything except for relaxation ;) . Now that the fishing bug bit, I am going out tomorrow morning with the intent on catching my limit. :D

Why yes the pink coyote series. The select file option is lite grey from my iPad so no photos until later. Picking up pc from shop today super yay.

Ps I'm certain that walking cake though gobs of revelers is like walking a unicorn. I was so busy being stopped by and talking to people I don't have any shots.

Sounds like heaven....Elk, fishing, new pups on the way. What a great beginning of spring you all in Selma are celebrating.

Elk fishing. I'd like to try that. What do you use as bate? Grass catchers? I hear you can hang those at different heights over the meadow based on the size elk you want. Nitagator? eyeshine.

Ahh spring. A time when animals awaken from slumber...and the bear tracks in the snow springslumber.jpg beartracks.jpg signal to sportsmen and women of the Nort to hurry hurry and get in that last bit of sport madhares.jpgcurling.jpglodgebunny.jpgdollybike.jpg Hurry to the River on your bike/4 wheeler/ snow machine because the melt is coming and soon the ice will be unstable. River.jpgMelt.jpg Enjoy that last snack in the snow for soon the mice will be hidden deep in borrows. Enjoy that last naughty boy pee on the check out counter corner at petco for soon all walks will be outdoors. lastsnack.jpgwhomepee.jpg For soon the spring flowers will be bloomin'. We'll be sitting on sun warmed grass, taking a plunge into all things summer. springflowers.jpghillograss.jpgtakeaplunge.jpg So raise your glass and toast with me - to Spring and all that follows. Happy St. Patties day!

So all this talk of pee and yellow snow has me wondering...is it just Boone or do some of you have a dog who refuses to pee or poop anywhere but his own back yard? Boone just refuses to go anywhere else.

Tayamni was like this for a while.

Long walks bring out the poop in (or from) her and she would just stop and go. But not pee on walks, the finally she started that. (about a month ago).

At the dog Park, she would pee - but until - (a week before she was spayed; was her first poo at the Dog Park, and it is always a bit loose there).

The long leash walks after breakfast really helped Tayamni get over it.

Oh yes, and the couldn't pee on the grass but would hold it until training class playtime and then tile floors are a great place to pee - glad she grew out of that!

She is still picky about where she goes but at least she goes when we are out and about now.

We've been flirting with spring down here. The temps have finally broken to consistent high 30's low 40's but the overnight temps are still down in the lower 20's so it's a never ending dance of thaw/freeze that leaves the sidewalks partially or fully impassable at several points throughout our designated rounds.

Today's walk was good though...Kona was reasonably well behaved after a few minutes of excitement about actually going for a formal walk for the first time in ages!

Me too! My daughter just moved down this way and she called me today to ask if it was really spring now lol She's used to Ohio winters that go on forever

My back yard is a mudpit/lake from all the rain and snow and melt. Two dogs running + all that = muddy feet and muddy carpets. Is THAT what Spring looks like? Ohhhhhh. :) Yaaaaaay.

Can you see me smiling?
