So Zuni is 6 months last week and suddenly decided dragging around his dog beds and if they are stuffed unstuffing them??? Should i just take them all away until this phase passes? Please tell me its a phase.... he is chewing through things like crazy-- chews that lasted weeks are gone in moments- its also house bound rainy weather... grrrrr

Tayamni started unstuffing her beds. Finally got her one she won't chew - it a temper foam bed.

I hadn't heard of another pup starting this until now.

I took the beds away (still have bags of stuffing if I ever want to start a different project ....)

This is when I started giving her cow toes, etc. because bully sticks were disappearing FAST!

Even a frozen wash cloth from time to time to give her something that would touch the gums.

Ohh, and I stuffed hollow bones with sweet potato, or pumpkin or mixed with rice, applesauce anything good ....

to give her something to focus on.

A lot of people find antlers helpful.

Had to go to store with Tayamni and let her choose a bed she wanted. Lucky it was on sale and I had extra coupons.... She picked the expensive one but has never chewed it! So in the end it is worth it.

Tayamni sleeps on bed with me mostly but likes her own bed time too!
