Haru still isn't eating that well. I know there aren't worms; the fecal came back negative and they gave her a mild dose just to be sure as well as she received her Sentinol over the weekend. Sunday night she didn't touch a whole lot of her food. Monday she ate sparsely. Half her breakfast became her lunch and then she wasn't all that interested in dinner. Tuesday morning she took one bite and then left the food alone. I mixed in some of the easily digestive canned food from the vet and she gobbled it up. She ate most of her lunch, leaving only a little, but then dinner was left half in the bowl. This morning wasn't any better.
In addition, last night I noticed she was very lethargic and her eyes were running. I am constantly cleaning the mucus from her eyes, something I haven't seen with her since she arrived. She also felt a bit warm. I put her to bed early with her walking right into her kennel and laying down (normally a little bit of settling and protest). This morning she doesn't seem as warm and was a little more energetic, but she is still not eating well and is runny in her eyes. I'm calling the vet when they open to talk with them about it. This is my first puppy to be 24/7 involved with and I'm a very worried mama.
However, I wanted to see what y'all thought. Here in Texas we are beginning our pollen season early this year. The Bradford pear trees where in full bloom Monday until we had a cold gust blow back in that night. I have allergies right now so maybe she does too?
There's no vomiting and her stools are only slightly loose. There also isn't a cough. I'm very hopeful that it isn't Parvo or Paroinfluenza. I will be going home at lunch to check her condition after I've talked with the vet. Thankfully Matt will be home and keeping an eye on her today.
