Tribulations Of Cats

Recommended Posts

Attached is a disturbing video showing heretofore unexplainable cat behavior. https://www.facebook.com/HuffPostLifestyle/videos/10153291047191314/?pnref=story

Thanks to a crack team of cat psychiatrists we have learned the reason and reveal it here to you today.

Behold, the cat Ghost Story:

Once there was a cat that had everything. A warm home, a big picture window, Fancy Feast, all its claws. Yet this cat yearned for the larger world out side the window. Oh I would be happy if only I could go out there the cat thought. So the cat began to plot and on Wednesday next, when the Tall One that Brings Food and Sometimes is Granted Pets came home with the Bags that Hold Little Cat Nip Mice and Fancy Feast plus Other things that are Useless to Cats so Of No Importance the cat made a scramble between the legs of The Tall One and out the open door.

The cat was over joyed - Free! Free!! Free!!!! Away it ran and it ran and it ran. After a while, the cat discovered that the world out side the window was not as expected. It was cold and wet. Disagreeable things such as leaves stuck to the feet. There was no warm window or comfortable pillow. No litter box. Birds were too much work. There were no cat nip mice and no Fancy Feast. The cats stomach rumbled. The unhappy cat looked for a way back to the Window and the Tall One but alas it had never been outside so it knew not where it was.

The cat remembered the door and so it selected the first one it found and waited. A Tall One did come eventually but it wasn't the cats Tall One so that cat moved on. It began to rain. The cat found another door but again the Tall One was not the Cats Tall One. The rain changed to sleet. It got dark. Alas the cat was forced to spend a sleepless night under a shrub. The next day the cat decided any door would do and so would any Tall One so it slipped into the next home the same way it had slipped out of the home with the warm Window. Unfortunately this house had a large dog. The cat was chased about. Bags flew, furniture crashed, there was screaming and like Indiana Jones the cat slipped back through the closing door just. in. time. Almost - and made it out, all except its tail.

Now this cat was never seen again, it disappeared and was swallowed by the world out side the Window. Let this be a warning to all cats not to stray from the warmth of home and beware! It is said that on certain days, when cold November winds blow a bodiless tail can be seen. It is searching, searching for a new body! BOO!

I just brought a crazy toy to my neighbors cat, Bobby Sox. They call me Auntie Allison.

But oh, it was a fun toy, and Bobby loved it.

They let me bring Sitka in their house, one day. Bobby went POOF!

It was like he had been put in the dryer.
