2019 Gathering Reviews And Photos

Recommended Posts

Well this year’s Gathering has come to a close. We had gorgeous weather for the entire weekend with no smoke. This year we had 24 in attendance along with, by my count, 16 dogs at the event.

We had attendees from Canada, Washington, California, Oregon and a surprise visit from the Silas family, and their AIDog Akycha. They drove all the way from Missouri to visit.

I would like to thank everyone who attended this year's event. I also wanted to thank everyone who jumped in to help get things set up and cleaning up afterward. A special thanks to the Silas family who offered to do the grilling and did the grilling to perfection. Also thank you Christy for again taking on the task of having shirts, bandanas and other Song Dog Kennel items made up.

These annual events are for you the owners but it is also for Kim, the founder of this wonderful breed. We will continue to schedule these annual events as long as we make it work. Kim really enjoys visiting with the owners and watching their adult AIDogs return to where their journey began.

I have heard from several people today who attended yesterday’s main event. They wanted to express how much they enjoyed visiting with other AIDog owners and look forward to attending next year’s event. Kim has also mentioned to me how much he enjoyed this event and wanted me to pass on his thanks to everyone who attended. He is also very appreciative of the donations from everyone. These donations will go toward the cost of dog food. As you can imagine, all the breeding dogs go through a lot of dog food. Thanks again.

Unfortunately, I completely forgot to take any pictures this year. I am hoping that some of the attendees took some picture to post. If anyone who attend the Gathering took pictures which they would like to post, please do so. You can also send them to me and I will post the pictures for you.
