It is now 12:52 AM in the land of the third coast, USA. Kaposia sleeps on our bed. At 12:25 AM we were awakened by the most other-worldly howl I've ever heard. I don't know if she was asleep and dreaming or awake, but that's never happened in the nearly 5 years we've had her. It wasn't the melodious howling she does to the ring tone on my phone, this was like a mourning banshee. One long wailing howl. We petted her a little and she seems fine (?) but I'm still awake!

Hi everyone, sorry I havent been active with the group. Im checking in because my girl, Mishe Mokwa, had a seizure tonight. This is the third one since Thanksgiving. Mishe is 3 years old. Her parents are Cree and Jay Silver Heels. She came from the fall 2016 liter. I brought her home December of 2016. I was wondering if any other siblings are having seizures? Also, any advise on preventing seizures? We stopped heart worm, flea tick meds. She eats Blue kibble grain free and homemade foo

Well, we had Critter Control placing traps in our yard for three nights. First night got a skunk and an oppossum, second night a reccoon and an oppossum, third night one raccoon. Then it was time to pull the truck out of the shelter and clean up. Mentioned to the vet that we would use mothballs to deter more raccoons moving in, and she advised that mothballs are very toxic to dogs, so we told her that we'd be hanging the mothballs in knee high nylon stockings from the ceiling of the storage shel

The forum has been upgraded to the latest Invision forum software, a new server, operating system, database and php version. As this is now running on AWS, the forum is no longer susceptible to power outages, disk failure, or other weaknesses of a physical presence. Due to Internet DNS registry issues, the current domain name is iidoba.us, eventually it will resolve all the other familiar names. There are a few minor configuration issues to be dealt with but nothing serious.

I consider this to be an possibly unstable state and post past this point should be saved, but as the server stack is in a fragile state, I'm not going to guarantee anything.   I am in the process of migrating all of this to the Cloud servers at AWS where Seattle's crappy power won't cause all of my equiptment to melt down.

Sir Scout had his heartworm test last week. I had a bet with my husband on what his weight would be. I won the bet! Scout is 55lbs. Growing up so fast. I had to look back at early puppy pictures, boy was he little compared to now.   Are any of Scouts litter mates out there? Would love to see what they look like. Tori and Red Hawk litter.

They are here!!! Song Dog Kennels is very excited to announce that Yazhi had eight (8) healthy pups, five (5) males and three (3) females 6 Aug 2020. Mom and pups are doing great.   Because of these difficult times we are living in, we have to adjust and do things a little different right now. We have already identified where these pups will be going to. This had to be done because travel plans have to be made by new owners since we are still unable to ship pups due to the shipping embarg
