mommom 371
Just curious if anyone else's pup does what we call a "chair sit" - he sits straight up on his hind legs and puts both front paws on the bed, my leg, whatever his focus is. I've always known these babies are amazing users of their front paws, our first AID often laid on his back, holding a toy or chewy in mid-air over his head with both front paws. They also seem to enjoy stretching out on their backs with all four feet in the air, especially against a wall (Bandit and Kito both.)

mommom 371
LOL, NorCal, that's the "hybrid" half-sideways, half-upright position. High difficulty rating.
nrrosque 232
yes Zuni too Haha that's exactly how Zeph sleeps, except usually that high paw is right in my face
LakeGirl 779
Yes, the "chair sit", sometimes with a little "double shove" against my leg if I'm not responding to what she wants quickly enough, yes to lying on her back and using the front paws like hands, and yes, all the sleeping positions. KittynDoc 968
LOL!!!! Yes! If I'm really not paying attention, Wyot wraps his two front paws around my arm, forcing me to turn and look at him, and, of course, give him lots of hugs, making the tail was so fast it could clean all the dust on the floor! I've yet to be able to capture him in the sleep mode, when all paws are in the air, one against the wall....he does this hang out pose behind my husband's chair in the morning, while hubby's sipping coffee.. sort of standing over the heater, one paw laying completely across it, just standing there...it is SO funny! Love these wonderful crazy dogs!!!

Tervlab 152
OMG...YES, YES, YES....Teak is CONSTANTLY on his back either sleeping or chewing on a toy or bone...It kills me all the time...I am always chuckling at him. I love these dogs so much!!!! They are amazing. He also LOVES to sit IN a chair, but he comes to the side of the bed every morning & puts his front paws up on my arm or leg until I wake up...staring at me the whole time.
