Kota At Almost 4 Months

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Here's a quick update on Kota (Little Crow x Tonto litter 2015). She's amazing! Of course we have our typical puppy issues, but she's a fast learner. She's taken to training very well, learning most commands on the 2nd or 3rd try. She's also almost flawless on the leash now when I'm walking her (walking with the family in tow still needs some work ;) ). Sleeps all night in her crate, and (knock on wood) is finally house trained.

Every where we take her, people just love her and she loves them. I hope that the waiting list for another puppy next summer won't be too long, cause everyone, I mean everyone, says they want one.

Best of all, she is best friends with our Bengal cat. I was hoping that she would treat her well, but had no idea that they would actually play all day long together. Our cat loves her too, grooming her after a long play session. It's so funny to watch them - one minute they'll come darting through with the puppy chasing the cat, then a minute later the cat will be chasing the puppy. Then they hit the floor for an extended wresting session. Kota of course has been growing a lot since she first started playing with our cat, but she still treats her well and doesn't throw her weight around. Anyway, it makes for some great entertainment! Plus, the cat now thinks she's a dog - eats dog food out of the dog bowl, tries to fetch the ball, even poops and pees in the yard now. Only problem is Kota loves to eat the cat poop. Working on that...

Anyway, hope you enjoy the pix. If I can figure it out, I'll post a video of the two of them wrestling.

Cheers.

David and family

Trekker,

I have an F3 Bengal, she thought my pup was going to be small took one look at Tayamni stuck her nose up and bolted the other way.

She is finally coming around.

Now, the new pup is smaller and she has investigated more but still no play.

My Mom has a Bengal that plays with my pup Tayamni when we visit!

We both have cats that act like dogs and dogs that act like cats now!!!!! :P

Cute puppy. I like the red color and light blue eyes. The ears remind me of what ever the Egyptian dog god looked like on some of ancient hirogrifics? that were pictured on the tumbs.
