New And Old

Recommended Posts

Hi, I am new to this but not to the dogs. Our love Lucy of almost 15 years died this past february which totally broke our hearts. We now we have Ruby who we have fallen in love with. Is there a place to post pictures etc of our pups who have passed and how about the new pups? I was on the forum back in the day when it was completely different and never transitioned....thank you and all help is appreciated! Jane

You can put it where you like. Many of us choose "updates". Please put your dog's name in the title somewhere to make it easier to find later.

Sorry for your loss of Lucy, but glad of your gain in Ruby.

Hi Jane, So sorry to hear of Lucy's passing. It's never easy for those of us left behind. I also want to welcome you back to the American Indian Dog family. I'm sure Ruby will bring you a ton of joy and laughter. We all look forward to hearing all about Ruby and rekindling that virtual friendship with you and Ruby that we all seem to share amongst us and our dogs..See you around the forum.

Thank you so much! Ruby has been such a joy for us. Of course she is really smart and funny and cute and just awesome... We still miss Lucy so much but are also enjoying comparing the similarities and the differences. Lucy was so beautiful and had the fox coloring with her red fur and yellow eyes. Ruby looks like a coyote. I get the exact same comments tho I did with Lucy...looks like a dingo, coyote, fox and jackal..... She was 9 weeks when we picked her up. She had to immedietly start going to work with David(her Dad) who is a contractor. Luckily we are in a rural area so its easier... She has been good and respectful with the cats. I have two horses and she has gone from being afraid of them to trying to get them to play. She does respect their size.... She is from the litter of Hawkeye and Shyann. Oh...how do I post pictures?

Here you go....let us know if you have any problems with posting photos. Keep them a medium size so that it doesn't take long to bring them up and view them.
