Sherab 2,337
I wonder if I can take little Waki on one of these trips? http://www.boyne.com/Winter/SnowSports/Dog_Sledding.html
judyk 43
Unfortunately they only have their own dogs. It is amazing to do though. We did that trip and also one in Lake Louise, Banff. That one was spectacular. They even stopped up in the woods and made us lunch. It was a trip and a sled ride to remember!!!
Sherab 2,337
Wow Banff! Cool. Too bad About not being able to clip Waki in with the real sled dogs. I can see their perspective but what a blast that would have been.
judyk 43
The sled dodgs are amazing! They run like the wind and without the 'sled master' leading them, they just go!! Up in Banff the cleat wasn't firmly planted in the snow and the dogs took off! If you ever get the chance to get to Banff, you must go. I was actually speechless when we came up the mountain to the hotel - it looked like something out of Dr. Zhivago! You can't imagine all the different nationalities that were there! It was a wonderful culture experience! I'd go back in a heartbeat - but with no one to care for the 'kids' I don't see it happening anytime soon!!!

Allison 2,369
Oh my dog,... Excellent, and killer emotionally. If that doesn't rend your heart, you are dead.
