Now we may have a Murlo....

Hahahahahaha!

I hope we can get his owner to post and answer your questions. They way she has described him to me as she was sending pictures, REALLY makes me want another. He is beautiful, isn't he? And obviously a happy guy.

yes Murphy looks related to Yolo, Solo and Bolo....

Now we may have a Murlo....

How old is he?

Murphy (aka Murlo, Bwahahaha) was 2 in June. He is the baby in a family of three cats and three dogs.

I am just getting the hang of replying on this site. I hate to admit that I work for IT.

Murphy is my bud. His personality is that he is a "helper." When I cut down tree branches and drag them to the burn pile, he takes the back end and tries to help me get it to the pile. When I am in the pond, cleaning out the algae, he is on the rocks at the edge, with his snout in the water, trying to pull some out too. When I carry in clean clothes and something is hanging down, like a sleeve or end of a towel, he puts it in his mouth and walks with me to where I am going to fold. He is a companion in the truest sense of the word. He even sits in the hall and watches me put make-up on when I am getting ready for work. I hope he doesn't get to the point where he tries to help me do that too!

Jeanine! Hello! That description kills me. My dog prefers to play rather than work, and he definitely knows the difference. That being said, when it's time to put the harness on and do some pulling, he is good to go.

Like Murphy, however, he is a constant companion.

I think Murphy might be better at helping you to remove your makeup--maybe start with some cherry Chapstick.

During our conversations, I was struck by your comments on how funny Murphy can be. Indeed, all the pictures you sent, showed him to be very lighthearted.

I love that classic AIDog pose, the legs splayed out behind him, in the first pic, and then how gently he's holding the toy he's destroying in the second.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hey. I would like to point out Murphy's little ruff around the neck. You can just see it. It's not thick like some of our dog's, but it sticks out clearly to those of us with a short haired dog, like a cow-lick that goes around the neck.

It's really cute, and I pull on Coyo's. He loves that.
