How is the new pup doing?

:) The new puppy is doing great!

My wife and I both agreed today that we are so much better at appreciating "the moment" since Sedona died. When Sedona was alive, we assumed she would be alive for a long time not knowing how short her life would be. Now it is easier to sit and enjoy each moment with the new puppy and each other, because you never really know when will be that last moment.

Words to live by, Tim.

I had the opportunity to watch a little of "The Dog Whisperer" while visiting my father's house (no TV), and Cesar did a lovely piece about how dogs live in the "now", and he was saying how much we can gain from emulating that quality.

He had me all teary eyed... :)

Kim sent me a picture of you, the family, and the new pup. I guess it's a new thing he is doing, taking a photo of new owners and pups. I'll get that up soon. Beautiful family.

Yes living in the now and appreciating what you have is good, but we all carry very much what was once in our lives, the art is remembering the good things and enjoying them, and try not to dwell on the bad, it helped to make us stronger to deal with things now.

Enough of my philosophy!

Good luck with the new pup, enjoy!
