  1. Tennis anyone? Lovely girl.
  2. In the '80s I worked at a contemporary Southwest art gallery in Palm Springs, Elaine Horwitch Galleries. This thread brings back memories of a couple of the artists whose work we showed. There were a couple of great portrait style paintings by Fritz Scholder, neither of which I could find on the net, so settled for two pieces to post. I also like R.C. Gorman's (the first picture). Do you see Scholder's resemblance to the AIDog? or not ...
  3. Dark chocolate, light chocolate, dark, light, dark...how in the heck...? Sweet mama.
  4. Wonderful pictures. What a gorgeous dog!
  5. I would have one that sez "Not a fox"
  6. My Spring fix! Love it! Thanks Sherab!
  7. Oh man! What a day. Extending our garden. All (fence) work and no play on a beautiful day. Ayita is wasted. I think the heat zapped her itty bitty boddy. She works hard keeping up with us. Okay, Greg, how many fish did you catch? Sherab, seems there were some cool pics last year of the fatbike thing...Cake in bells?

    Chief Pup-Pup

Love that serious little face. What a doll!
  9. Ain't technology grand? Ayita's vet had the same plan down to the meds, which we took as directed--except for the cone--a flashback or something. Love our vet. So lucky to have her. Glad Kekona (and dad) did well. What does Liliko'i think of all this fussing about?
  10. What works for me inside is going to the window to see what she is barking at, asking her what she's barking at, telling her all is well and thanking her for the heads up. She comes away quietly---unless, of course, it's a squirrel or a FedEx truck--then all bets are off
  11. Oink! Wishing her a speedy recovery
  12. What a cutie! Welcome to the Forum Alyssa!
  13. Had a really neat play time with Anoki and his new friend Blue Bird. Blue is spending some time with Greg getting socialized and such. She is a very sweet, gentle girl. She was a little shy, but I think she had fun watching Anoki and Ayita act goofy.
  14. Oh dear grass catcher is a biggie. It's the little things here. Her beds, the handles off of a great new plastic tub, the tabs off pot holders, two soccer balls...at 18 months she mostly likes to snatch things and watch us act like goof balls. Doesn't desytroy things, just teases us and slobbers all over her prize. She's getting pretty good at "leave it", but we're not there yet.
  15. I was fortunate to find 2. Since I was puppy challenged, I wasn't totally aware they were falling out till found them on the floor.
  16. then you can go below in the first quote box and add more and more woo hoooooo! Tinker Toys and Lincoln Logs and army men blown up with fire crackers (i had 2 brothers)
  17. Are the older and/or retired breeders spay/neutered prior to adoption or is that the responsibility of the adopter? Also, what is the adoption cost of the older dog? Thanks.
  18. Wrap it up...I'll take it! Oh man, I don't know how long I can resist getting back on the list...sigh...
  19. Ya know...I was bragging about Ayita having no troubles with this procedure. I just remembered that her stitches were on the inside and her itty bitty body was glued together on the outside. The stitches just dissolved. Could have been a different story...heh heh
  20. What a pretty girl ...good for both of them!

    Meet Shiloh

Beautiful dog! Love the photos, especially the one with his head resting on the hand.
  22. Nakoma is a lucky pup! Looking forward to following him on the Forum.
  23. ...and just when you thought your sweet pup was "over it" BAM! The Jekyll & Hyde phase kicks in. I've found it to be like a test. Dang! I shoulda, coulda, woulda. A real brain and patience stretcher--well worth every minute. But don't blink! You'll miss something really awesome... Sherab is right. The forum is here for you. Visit often. Start now. Be prepared
  24. I noticed it first playing ball. Our game is more like "catch" than "fetch." We use 4-5 balls, I chuck them and she has a couple of trees where she returns them. If I am too slow to throw them again, she runs up and grabs one and takes it back to the other tree. She also hides behind one certain tree and plays peek-a-boo. Inside, if no one is paying attention to her, she will quietly roll onto her back and just stare at us. Also, She stopped for a while, but she is back into taking anything looking like a white piece of cloth--sox, little towels etc. The other day I was on the computer and he
